Accessibility statement

The Small Business Empowerment Foundation (SBEF) is committed to making its website and online information accessible and usable for as many people as possible.

Our accessibility goal

SBEF aims to design and maintain this website with accessibility in mind, using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as a guide. We are continuing to review and improve the site. This statement does not claim that every page or feature has been independently audited or fully conforms to WCAG.

Accessibility features we are working toward

We aim to provide:

  • Text alternatives for meaningful images
  • Clear headings and page structure
  • Keyboard access to navigation, links, buttons, and forms
  • Visible keyboard focus
  • Readable text and sufficient contrast
  • Descriptive labels and instructions for form fields
  • Clear form validation and error messages
  • Captions or transcripts for relevant video and audio
  • Pages that work on mobile devices and with browser zoom
  • Content that does not rely on color alone to communicate meaning

Some content or services provided by third parties may not be fully controlled by SBEF.

Report an accessibility issue or request help

If you have difficulty using any part of the website, need information in another format, or want to request an accommodation related to an SBEF program or event, contact us:

Email: info@smallbusinessef.com

Please include the page or feature you were using and the type of help you need. SBEF will review your request and work with you to provide a reasonable way to access the information or service.

Accessibility improvements

SBEF welcomes feedback. We will use reports to identify barriers and guide future improvements to the website.
